Tara Marie Dorey Gordon
Born, raised, and worked very hard for 3 degrees in the beautiful Green Mountain State. Whether she’s skiing, learning something new, or aspiring to coach anyone who will listen, she approaches most things with efficiency, thoughtfulness, and a touch of style. Known for her creative spirit and boundless love for her family and friends, Tara never misses an opportunity to remind them how awesome they are. She’s got a knack for making life beautiful, whether through her deuxième language of CSS, her garden, or her never ending smile. Oh, and she’s funny too, some times, well maybe off the heals of PJ’s fast humor, because there's always something clever out there.

OUR STORY
Read about Tara and PJ, where they came from and the story they continue to built upon...
The Gordon Family
The Gordon family has been in Vermont for generations, with French ancestry that comes from Canada. Their home was filled with hard work, laughter, and a “try anything” spirit, where love meant showing up, having each other’s backs, and making every moment count—whether that was on the court, around the dinner table, or in the middle of an epic Easter treasure hunt.
Both sides of the family were connected to agriculture, with Dorey’s family bringing a clever entrepreneurial spirit to their work and Marie’s side embodying the strength and determination of true dairy farmers. Faith may have played a role, but so did Sunday basketball shootouts, where Mass attendance was sometimes determined by Brodie’s well-placed free throw. Family meals were easy going—spaghetti dinners, Sunday stews, and birthday parties brought everyone together. Their parents, true high school sweethearts, set the foundation for a love built on unwavering support, partnership, and positivity—values that continue to shape their family today.
Though Dad passed away ten years ago, his presence is deeply felt—especially in the buffet line, where he would have proudly led the charge. Through every challenge and celebration, the Gordons have shown what it means to love unconditionally, lift each other up, and create a home where everyone belongs.
Paul Milton Nann, Jr
Known by many aliases—Peej, Paul, Rocco, Monann, Milton, DJ Spanish Paul, Poochee, Dad, Pablo Santiago (glasses required)—PJ is an adventurer at heart, a connoisseur of restaurants, traveling with his best pizza and wing tasting protegee Teigan. PJ can be found in the early morning running the beach before getting all the things done, and in the evening exploring Vermont’s winding roads, racing toward the setting sun sunset. He’s the kind of guy who knows when to be serious but also knows when to break out the dance moves. A master of balance, he’s equal parts spontaneous and steadfast, mischievous and thoughtful. The ultimate co-conspirator in both life and logistics, he’s Tara’s match in wit, warmth, and enthusiasm for life.

The Nann Family
The Nann family comes from New Jersey, where sports, competition, and perseverance were a way of life. Running and athletics were more than just hobbies—they were a mindset, shaping a family of resilient, self-driven people who carve their own paths.
PJ’s parents met during a local theater production, where their two distinct backgrounds intertwined. Dee grew up in a family rooted in finance, managing a Prudential banking office, while Paul’s family built a successful and beloved flower shop. The Nanns have remained a family of independent thinkers who take pride in forging their own way, yet no matter how busy life gets, family gatherings always bring warm smiles over good food and quality time.
That foundation has shaped PJ’s outlook on life, love, and fatherhood teaching him the value of resilience, adaptability, and staying true to himself. As he and Tara build their future together, they do so with the same determination and unwavering support for one another that defines his family.
